Wastelanders is an ambient solo side project by Dean Costello of Harpoon, Crazy Stallion, and Diatribes.
We can't depend on anybody, there is no guide, there is no teacher, there is no authority, there is only one's self and one's relationship with another and the world, there is nothing else. Although Wastelanders is based on spaciousness and volume it also aims to focus on things which are quite distressing but could be addressed and alleviated with positive mindset capABILITY. Human desolation, war and aggression, poverty, illegitimate authority, mass production and consumption, violence, envy, conflict dismanagement, scarcity of resources, economic dependence and exploitation, sorrow and happiness, mental withdrawal, manipulative and abusive infrastructural policies, etc!! Obviously the list could go on forever, but it's only when we confront these things with a serious attitude that we can be sincere when working towards positive change, inwardly and outwardly.
